Our Role

CARE Bangladesh works to ensure women garment workers are supported through the sector’s transition toward a more just, inclusive and sustainable future. Through Women-Friendly Spaces, skills and leadership development, workplace protection, gender equality initiatives, climate resilience and entrepreneurship support, CARE strengthens women’s ability to adapt, lead and access safer, more secure livelihoods. By working with workers, factories, families and communities, CARE helps create the enabling environments and pathways needed for women to participate in and shape the future of Bangladesh’s RMG sector.
